The Zoo

I mentioned earlier that we went to the zoo for Eric's company picnic. We had a great time. They had 5 or 6 of the big blow up bouncy slides/toys, train rides, cotton candy, bingo, prizes and great food. We wandered around the zoo a little, but it was over 100 degrees so we tried to stay in the shade as much as possible. We took the kids over to the petting zoo and they loved it. It was kind of sad to see them getting so excited over goats, rabbits, horses and chickens. These were animals that I grew up with! We paid 25 cents to feed them and the kids thought it was great!

Brandon, checking out the chickens

If you look close you can see that the pigeon had laid an egg, Lexi was fascinated!

These horses were HUGE! Lexi was excited to see a "horse with a giraffe neck" funny.

Brandon petting the horses- this kid has no fear!

Paying to feed a goat? Crazy, but the kids loved it! $2 later it was time to move on to the next animal!

Brandon hitching a ride from daddy. We forgot the stroller!

The tiger. . . Brandon kept saying "here kitty kitty, here kitty kitty."

I think he could of climbed this a million times! He was in heaven.

Lexi loved the slide too! She was really sad when it was time to go!

What a fun time!
